Our Roots

est. 2002

Lavender by the Bay, a family-owned and operated lavender farm established in 2002, is located in East Marion and Calverton, New York.

The Rozenbaum family, the visionaries behind Lavender by the Bay, brought together their agricultural and artistic interests to create an unmatched experience on the North Fork and in Suffolk County, Long Island.

The farm began as a small family hobby, starting with the 17-acre East Marion property, where over 80,000 plants burst into bloom every summer.

In 2018, we expanded to add 30 additional acres in Calverton. The field is expansive and the plants flourish and delight the senses to the horizon.

Visit either one of our properties for an unforgettable experience, and get your favorite lavender products at our expansive farm shops: where fresh and dried bouquets, handmade sachets, lavender oils and lotions, and much more will make the perfect gifts-- for yourself or others.

Artfully designed sachets by Susan Rozenbaum and her team of lavender bees.

Our Blooms

We invite you to visit our farms during our blooms, June-August.

You can walk through the fields of lavender and smell the intoxicating aroma.

Our fields are free of charge to visit when not in bloom, and we offer plants and a plethora of lavender products at our shops from April-October.

GreenMarket

Our products can also be found at many Greenmarkets throughout NYC year-round.

We're happy to work with GrowNYC to bring our products you and to support local farmers.

Visit us at one of our stands!

If you can't make it to our farms or a greenmarket, most of our products can be found on our website.

We take pride in our high-quality lavender and are happy to bring it to you to enjoy all of its natural benefits.

Thank you for stopping by,
