Chocolate Chip Cookies with Lavendar

I purchased the oil, salt and sugar and was very excited to try them with my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. I put oil in as a replacement to the vanilla, then baked one plain, one with sugar and one with salt. The salt was amazing giving it just a hint of lavender while the salt tamed the sweet. Completed the batch with all salt. The salt was best with this recipe since it already has a lot going on. I will try just salt next time I bake this recipe.

We use Lavender Fleur De Sel to season salmon on the grill. The lavender is a nice subtle hint of flavor on the mild fish. We also throw a little on roasted veggies as well as a touch on a pan of brownies! Delicious!
